Stay On Top
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill,
and to destroy: I am come that they might have life,
and that they might have it more abundantly
(John 10:10).
God wants you to have and enjoy life. Every day
should be an exciting and happy day for you;
a day of joy and bliss. Don’t give this up for anything.
Don’t give any of your days to sadness, sorrow or to
the devil. It’s a decision you must make.
2 Corinthians 2:14 says, “Now thanks be unto
God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ,
and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by
us in every place.” Did you notice it says, “…always…
in every place”? That’s God’s dream for you. He wants
you to be on top, winning and reigning in life every
day, blossoming in blessings.
Those who say that we really can’t be joyful at all
times or that life is full of ups and downs, really don’t
know God, and the quality of life He’s given us. The
Bible says the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord
(Psalm 33:5). Hallelujah! It doesn’t matter what comes
up in your day; if waves are raging, stay at the crest! If
the waves go higher, ascend above them!
You’re not a victim in this life, but a victor in Christ
Jesus. 1 John 4:4 says, “Ye are of God, little children,
and have overcome them: because greater is he that
is in you, than he that is in the world.” Nothing can
put you down. James 1:2 says count it all joy when you
go through diverse tests; why? It’s because in Christ,
you’ve been made triumphant! You’re seated with Him
in the place of dominion, with the power to control
the circumstances of life for your benefit.
Therefore, live joyful every day, independent of
circumstances. Depend on the greater One who lives
inside you, and refuse to be swayed or moved by the
happenings around you. Live the higher life in Christ.
Hallelujah!
Confession
Dear Father, I thank you for your eternal and infallible Word,
which is working in me, causing me to triumph always! I live,
independent of circumstances, always in charge and in control,
basking in the higher and transcendent life in Christ, in
Jesus’ Name. Amen.
